So, you ask, "Why should I care if my finisher is certified?" Well, to put it simply, you'll likely get a better product. Certified finishers have taken the time to go to the manufacturer's training course(s) to ensure that they will be providing the best firearm finish job to the customer. The finisher has no control over the products being applied, but they are totally responsible for HOW those products are applied. A lousy paint job? That's the finisher's fault. Here's one example to show you what we mean.

We received this gun from a lady who was "less than happy" with the paint job that a local gun shop had done for her. On top of the "less than spectacular" results, the guy kept her gun for a long time, then still had the gall to charge her for this work.

When she contacted us and sent us some pictures, we had to do something. Being suckers for a hard-luck story (the lady's husband is deployed overseas), we had her send it to us for a little improvement. Here's what she got back.

Now, will every job done by a non-certified finisher look like the first set of pics? Of course not. But, do you want to take a chance that your job will be the one that does?
