Parkerizing

GCS, LLC will soon be offering Parkerizing as an option for finishing firearms (the tanks are being built, and the parkerizing solution is on the way). We will be offering Zinc Phosphate parkerizing, which results in a gray finish, similar to many military firearms. Parkerizing is a very thin, yet effective finish when properly treated with oil, or when topcoated with a finish such as DuraCoat or CeraKote. It is not as smooth as a satin or gloss applied finish, but does provide excellent protectant retention, further reducing the chances that your firearm will succumb to rust.
